I guess you could say this is a speed paint although it took 5 hours to complete. I was intending this to be a more straight forward portrait piece, but the more I kept experimenting I liked what was happening. I wanted to find a design or shape that the top of her head could transition into to make it more interesting. Done entirely in photoshop.
